Jan. 4th, 4 PM to 5:30 PM Vanderpoel House. CCHS and Columbia County Historians honor the Knox Train of Artillery.
Sometime between Jan. 4th-9th Gregg Berninger runs the Ghent portion of the Knox Trail. Greg welcomes anyone who is able to make the run with him.
January 8 – Author and reporter Gary Leveille will present at Kinderhook Library about General Knox’s historic feat, 5:30 pm – 6:30 pm
January 9 – The event will feature reenactors from Fort Ticonderoga, live oxen, special guest speakers, and refreshments – all under a heated tent. This special tribute to U.S. history will take place on the front lawn of the James Vanderpoel House of History, 16 Broad Street, Kinderhook Village at 10:00 a.m.
